Overview
A bold and modern brand identity for Zillwoods, the UK’s leading signage experts since 1887. Designed to celebrate craftsmanship, innovation and legacy through a vibrant visual language.
Deliverables
We reimagined the Zillwoods identity to reflect both its legacy and its progressive approach to signage. The new logo features a dynamic ‘Z’ monogram constructed from interlocking colour segments, symbolising creativity, versatility and craftsmanship. This shape also conveys motion and collaboration, key values of the Zillwoods brand.
The refreshed colour palette introduces a bold combination of purple, blue, green and orange to communicate diversity and energy, balanced by a refined black and white system for contrast and clarity. Typography was selected to be strong, contemporary and easily adaptable across physical and digital formats.
The new identity system was applied across a range of collateral, including business cards, signage, internal graphics and flags. Each application reinforces Zillwoods’ position as a trusted signage expert with a modern creative edge.
Our approach ensured the rebrand honoured Zillwoods’ 130-year heritage while introducing a flexible design system ready for digital transformation. The final outcome successfully bridges the brand’s proud history with a vibrant future of innovation.
